Temptu collaborates with Liz McClean for her Spring 2009 New York Fashion Week show

Temptu was proud to collaborate with New York designer Liz McClean for her Spring 2009 Collection. Temptu teamed up with McClean to create a limited edition temporary tattoo transfer featuring a selection of peace signs designed by model-turned-artist Fanny Bostrom.

With a long history of collaborating with the world’s foremost artists to create limited edition body art – from Matthew Barney to KiKi Smith to Dan Colen – as well as a rich history of designing makeup looks for New York Fashion Week, Temptu embraced this intersection of art and fashion as a natural fit.

A stylist turned designer, McClean has a celebrity following that includes Keri Russell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Feist. McClean’s collection this season showcased her feminine, free-spirited aesthetic and Key Body Artist Jenai Chin lead a team applying the limited edition body art to the models headed down the runway as well as to the designer herself. Guests in attendance were also treated to limited edition Fanny Bostrom tattoos in their gift bags, so they could adorn themselves.
